Having been launched in Canada in 2002, it now has 24 million members in nearly 40 countries. In the UK alone, where the site was launched four years ago, over 825,000 members have signed up, particularly married females between 38 and 42. Canadian founder Noel Biderman insisted in a national newspaper interview last month that infidelity was pretty much “inevitable” and even that it could be “good for your marriage”, as long as the cheating partner does not get found out.
