How can you tell if your partner is cheating on you?
Have you been having sleepless nights worrying about your partner's suspicious behaviour? Are you worried they might be having an affair or trying to date other people? It's no good leaving things in limbo – you need to have the truth so you can sleep easy again. Here's what to look out for, so you really know for sure if someone's cheating on you.
Their behaviour has changed, for no apparent reason
Has your partner taken up a new hobby they never showed an interest in before, or changed their dress sense with no obvious trigger? Perhaps they were always keen to save money, but now they're spending it like water? It's only natural to be suspicious when someone changes ingrained habits. Show an interest in their new routine and try to get involved – if they seem reluctant to let you help, or they just can't account for their new behaviour, be on your guard.
They've become more secretive
A healthy relationship involves sharing stories, problems and experiences. Yes, you'll have your own little secrets, but most aspects of your lives should be openly shared as a couple. If you're suddenly feeling shut out and you can't share things in the same way anymore, this could be a warning sign that your partner is pulling away. Try and make time to enjoy each other's company and gently encourage your partner to open up about their day, or their plans for the week ahead. Constant vague answers, suddenly hiding their phone, or a strange explanation as to where they've been shouldn't be the norm.
It's hard to track them down
Are you struggling to get in touch with your partner, either face to face or over the phone? To really know what's going on, you should consider hiring a private investigator. Using tried and tested methods, like remote surveillance and covert tracking, they can subtly determine where your partner is and who he or she is with, and won't arouse suspicion. The evidence they gather will provide the answers you need, so you can confront your partner and deal with this together.
